Not SuperiorSound or InnovativeRides, BUT....

Hey James, what's you experiences with fitting after market tweeters in the stock location? I'm trying to figure out where to put my 1" tweeters, and so far, I've thought about the door sails, A-pillers, and just cutting holes to mount on the door panels.

i find myself loving your frontstage much more then trunk. Thinking about messing around with fiberglass until i'm comfortable enough to do something like that.

many many moons from now though i suppose

well, i dont' really have experience with tweeters in stock locations because i dont' have a stock location for my tweeters in my old 96' Camry, but I just used mounting tape (double sided tape) and stuck 'em on my kick pods. I want to put NX-30s in my bro's TSX but he doesn't like how they stick out and it doesnt' have an oem look. If i were you, i'd just use mounting tape and stick 'em where they sound good to you.

It'd be nice if I did the fiberglass work, but the pods were bought from GCadidas13. I have yet to work with fiberglass.

haha, it was cool talking to you last night. it's always good to meet with people with same interests. You'll have plenty to show off once you get done with your fiberglass work.

well, since this thread is back up, i'll add some more pics i took.

Yeah. All I need now is equipment, supplies, and time. Then I'll be good to go. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

oh, I'm about to replace my 8" AA Assassins for with IDQ8s and my MCSYNC6 with IDQ6s!!!!! I just bought the IDQ6s for $110 shipped. I hope they come in one piece unlike my IDQ8s that are being fixed at Image Dynamics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif :veryhapp: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

curious how did you mount the flase panel to the box? screws or another way?
since the box is carpeted, I just used velcro //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

nice and simple. stays on well, too.
