Good point. Although I think just 12 would still be too few...seems like there'd be a lot of leftover baffle space, but maybe I'm wrong.

i guess of should of said a budget lol.. im looking at around 1k-1200 for subs + amp.. i have all the wiring and stuff. the alternator budget will be seperate cause im doing that before income tax and this sub + amp budget is my income tax money

Im getting the idea that you should correct you current problem 1st.

1 ive heard 2 15s on a oldschool zues 1000 mono in a trunk car (foldable seats yet with the seat up still was incredibly loud)

sitting in the car mad you ears hurt nearly everytime the bass droped.The box was a prefab with 2 big aero ports on each end and the subs were gravity.Now the same person has a van 4 15 cvrs 2 stacked prefab slot ported boxes. it gets loud to even ran with just 1 pair hooked up.

The 2 gravitys literally were annoying loud and when i exited the car evertime it felt as if i could stick my finger clean in my ear hole.

i dont really know what is really loud, as my system is the only decent system i have ever heard in person...its nothing to me, i could listen to it all day and not get fatigued, but when my friends ride in it they plug there ears and say it hurts. so i dunno if im just getting used to how loud it really is or what
