I use to be really into my own installs all very simple and certainly "SQ" types . With no silly mega subwoofers etc .Typical sub would be a JL8W6 or a 10 inch Aliante . Genesis /soundstream ref amps .DLS or Morel speakers etc etc . Miata/MX5's to Audi and volvos etc .
Now bloody old..! And with a Mazda 6 estate that thank God does not have BOSE !. Its a 2010 stock .
Plan is
1.As always , dampen the doors as much as possible using generic
ebay foil topped pads . 4 doors and any left over added to trunk .
2. VIBE (uk ) 6.5 inch Components . Tweeter to be in stock position . TIny bit of work but not changing interior of car >I love the "stock look" .
3. Possibly add "bass blockers " to the mid bass to just help them with the lower frqs .
I only ever use CD's as i cant stand MP3 and using a iphone for music .
ANyone else played with a Mazda 6 ?
