Today we put the brand new Skar Audio LP-1000.1D to the test with a quick Clamp Test. This test was done @ a 2 Ohm Load since it was shot last minute, but nonetheless you can see the power output these little monsters are capable of

so lets get the facts straight in this video shall we.

1. 400 + 400 = 1000

2. 600 rms drivers getting 400 watts doesnt get warm

3. 700 watt at 2 ohm rated does 400 watts

4. This is the build quality you should expect from SKAR.

thank you for doing this. this video is shameful

this amp claims 700 watts @ 2 ohms and this video shows it almost getting 450 @ 2, where we are pretty much told later on that it does rated based off of these stats.

the Skar VVX is conservatively rated at 600 rms, so it shouldn't be getting hot/warm at all at almost 450 watts.

also if this was in Skar headquarters, no one has access to a real test tone CD instead of YouTube? what kind of bs headquarters is this?

i know you all hate skar . but he said the amp did 1k at 1 and he was testing it at 2ohms just throwing that out there . If that sub was rated at 700rms at 2 and it was getting warm at 450 its garbage time

Maybe it was a typo on his site who know . This guy is shady tho . But why would a 1000 watt amp @1 be rated at 700 @ 2 makes no sense to me
