If you leave something open ended enough, people are bound to find it's meaning for you.

Keep in mind, Nostradamus' quantrains have NEVER been used to predict the future....only to have events attributed to them AFTER the event has occurred. (that I am aware of atleast)

Lets say I make a prediction today saying "something terrible will happen in the near future to the middle east"

That is such a broad and open statement, that after the fact of any incident, one could easily apply it.

It's misinterpretations. Sure, you can use his predictions to after an event has happened but never before since they are so vague. His predictions carry as much weight as me saying "there will be a great natural disaster that will wreck tens of thousands of lives and destroy entire economies" or "a great man will be killed by his countrymen and cause turmoil for many generations." I bet you both will come true eventyally, but the claims are so broad and general that they can be applied to a myriad of events. Nostradamus has as much credibility as the horoscopes at the checkout counter at a grocery store.

x2 Nostradamus hasnt predicted anything. People just twist around his predictions afterwards to make it seem like he knew the whole time.

To my knowledge, no one has ever used Nostradamus' quantrains to successfully predict the future.

If you wanted to live forever in memory, make a million extremely vague predictions. As they become "true" one after another, the others will be listed as "not true yet" and dispite the fact that it takes millenia for them all to happen, you'll go down in history as a prophet. After a lifetime of practice, you'd get pretty good at it.

The Red Army is world renown to be Russia. China is a dark green.
