Normal for IDMAX?

I bought my 12" V3 a lil while ago and absolutely LOVE IT! Its in a sealed box...blah blah blah.

Anyways, When you turn the volume up, and stand next to the sub with the trunk open it sounds like the thing is rattling on some notes. You cant hear it inside the car and the sub performs perfectly. I had a similar rattle with my Kicker Comp Vrs. I know for sure that it is coming from the sub itself. Is this normal?

I have an Alpine 7893 and its being powered by a Cadence Z9000.

Gains are at about 3/4, maybe a tad lower. They were done by ear, more or less.

It doesnt seem to be affecting the performance at all

Possibly a leak in the box. Tinsel leads like someone already mentioned. Possibly the spider is coming away from the basket? My brahma did that, but that was more of a slapping noise.

I think idmaxes have woven tinsel leads so lead slaping against cone couldnt be it, but idmaxes do have a big problem with coil alignment which could be a possibility that the coil is scratching.
