Been building a '98 Jeep XJ and have decided I want a little thump. Nothing major, just enough to annoy the neighbors. Finding things have changed from my youthful days of slapping together the biggest box you could fit in your trunk, dropping in whatever 12" woofers you could afford, hacking it together with a swap meet amp and hoping for the best as you clicked the detachable face from your deck and slid the huge CD case under the seat. All the while rotating through the dozen or so songs that actually sounded decent while chasing down that wily buzz or dastardly rattle. Going to need advice because despite my knowledge of how to rebuild an engine from scratch I go a bit bug eyed with teh ohms and watts and isobaric crossover parallel series finale stuff. Especially since this leads to so many lively audiophile debates.
