Noob to audio system, need major help

I received two Memphis subwoofers, brand which are unknown and there is no serial number/product key to distinguish what type of subs they are and also an amp but I was planning on upgrading that.

My question is what am I looking for particularly in an amp to power my subs? I've read that just buying an amp that will output the wattage on your subs will be good enough but I'm unsure as to what the specs on an amp are. Such as the ohms and specific details such as.

I was looking at the Hifonics Bre60.4 amp and wanted to hear positive/negative comments.

you need to know if your subs are SVC (1 set of +/- connections or DVC( 2 sets of +/- connections)...and what the ohm ratings are for each sub. You will need a Digital multimeter set to ohms and check the connections on each sub. They should all read about the same. Post the result here, and then someone can help you find the correct amp in your price range to get the best performance from your subs.

Show pics of the cone and the basket of the sub, and we can narrow down even more.
