Noob Question? (prefab box)

I was wondering..I will like to get one of those 10" sub that already are in the box...like for example the ones that they sell at CC or BB. Now my question it`s are those boxes made at the specs of that sub...

hell you live in the largest city in the country i am sure one of our more experianced memeber live close and can help.

its a car stereo unless you have some comp. to go to, time is only a factor for the impatient

Well i currently got this..

but it`s too big and heavy so that`s why i`m asking..i`m thinking on that 10" sub....(shame on me)

that sub is 300 watts peak??? i thought it would be more than that. that means its probably 150 wrms which sucks. if i were you i would go spend more money on a better sub, look around the classified or ask around for some recommendations on subs and then you can build your own box. it will end up costing the same as that box/sub combo and you will be MUCH more pleased with it.

According to MTX's website the RMS power handling is 300w. Sounds like it's just poor labeling of information on Circuit City's part.

Always go by the manufacturer's information and not a retailers information.
