Noob question on competitions

In a big competition do people have to go up againts teams like Kicker or do the manufacturers stay out of the competitions? If yes do people win againts these type teams?

u would be in consumer classes no u would not compete against manufacturers but maybe ppl sponsered my them

Only advantage a team member these days has over a noob is the experience that got them on the team. Most anyone can get some type of discount if they say they compete.

Factory vehicles tend to not compete as they are all built for show, they leave it up to there competitors they sponsor to get the job done. At the 3x show last weekend there was a MTX truck with a Jackhammer and a Kenwood van, neither would dare step up to the TL
