All it is, is a smaller, lighter, sealed/maintenance free battery. It uses a diffrent type of plates and stuff inside the battery to make it better than a reg Lead Acid or a SLA battery.

They say nothing about it beeing deep cycle, just a better version of a reg LA battery.
