How do you tell if you can benefit from a HO alt?

depends on how many watts you are running, what your stock alt is rated at...

I have a 07 sierra Im not sure what the stock alt puts out?

But my new mids and highs amp will be something like a RF 350.2 and my subs amp will be equal to a RF15002

Right now I have a RF punch 250a2 and a RF power800a2

But I havent hooked this up to my 07 yet. It was in my 03 silverado

do the big three first... and run 1/0, if you still have dimming, then look into a ho alt...

klm is fine, i use welding wire, and i hear klm is a little less flexible than the flex stuff... it can't be any less flexible than welding wire so you should be fine...

Is 150 amp fuse about right for the fuse that goes under the hood?
