Noob Needs His Amp Connected...

Like Title Says Im Sorta A Noob At This Audio Stuff And I Just Had The Stereo Shop Install A Pioneer Z1 In My Vw But The 4got To Connect The Amp And So I Was Wonderin Does The Amp Have To Be Directly Connected To The Hu? I Mean The Power And Ground Cable Are Connected Already And The Speaker Wire Is Already Connected. But Theres A Single Black Wire Thats Just Kinda Dangling From The Side Of The Amp...does This Need To Be Connected To Anything? So Wat Im Asking Is Wat All Needs To Be Connected In Order For A Amp To Work?

Yea I Just Found Out Its The Remote Turn On.... So I Just Crimp The Black Wire To My Remote Turn On, On The Hu?

yes, its usually blue coming from the headunit harness
