Noob Here Needs a Box design for 2 12"s!

Planning a build for my first system and was wondering if ya'll had a ported box design for 2 12's. I'm eigther gonna run alpine type r's or kenwood KFC-3012's... If ya'll got any good box designs or ideas i would apperiate if if ya'll would help me out!

i'll probally just go w/ the kenwoods for now, cause i know with the right box these subs could bubmp for the price. lol

and for my first system i think i'll just mess with the kenwoods a lil

Type R's get loud but dont sound that amazing doing it. THats just me though i like type R's and i personally stay away from kenwood products.

its a 2000 toyota tundra extended cab, i was planning on putting the box on the rear seat and running a x1200m kenwood amp...

also, i listen mostly to rap

If you look in the enclosure and design help section of the forums there is a sticky with lot's of free box designs. I personally would go with the type r's 4.5 cubes tuned at 36hz.

when running a ported box w/ 2 12's does it matter if the port is to one side of both subs or not? Most i've seen have had the port inbetween the two subs..

also, i was thinkin of building one of these two that i saw, which one is better if any good at all?

go with the Rs...those Kenwoods are entry level in every way

My design from vitveet was uhh 4.02 cubes tuned to 32 hz. They got loud for what they cost. I can get you external dimensions in a few.

and to further complicate things for you, it would be alot better of an idea, to not put the box ON the seat.. i would either take it out, fold it up, or make other plans
