No I never had time to meter it.Yes sir..I had Buck build me a wall design up awhile back and have decided to just do it. Actually 8 cubes rear@29 htz -15 cubes front@58 htz should be able to play down to mid 20s what Im reading off of it right now

Never got a chance to meter it with the two 5500's but it did a 156 with four 5k's. It's a center port which kills the SPL meter a lil compared to a driver side port.

No I sold both 5500's. Smoked one and the other started acting funny recently but it had already been repaired. Sold them dirt cheap too just to get rid of them. Tired of messing with repairs and warranty. ***** because the one I smoked was **** near brand new and had warranty. Oh well [emoji20]

So right now I'm saving up for Ampere or Crossfire 8k's and I have an Addictive Audio 500.1 on the way to get me by for now. I always wanted to try one of the 500.1's on my 18v electrical because I heard they can do 10k. Will see [emoji16]

See, this is why I wonder when people tell me that all this new equipment is SOOO much better than OS stuff. We were doing mid 150's center ported, to Flashdance, back in 95, with less than 5k total power.....without destroying subs .... I am NOT knocking your system dude. 156 is slammin no matter how you do it. This just kinda tied into another thread ...

150 in the 90s is a 140 now. My dad was a big competitor in the 90s. His clam shell did mid 50s. When he got to hear my 150 build it blew his mind. He said he was not building pressure like that was.

It's a big difference depending on the meter. I've seen AC meters be as high as +12 over a termlab. Average is about 7 high.

And I've seen them compared back to back at 3 db also ... it all depends ... I'd say that 5db is more of a norm than 7 though ....
