i just bought this amp last night on ebay, i wasnt able to find much on it, i guess it was discontued 4 or 5 years ago. but from what i read it does rated power and then some so i figured 180$, wtf

my question is about the speaker terminals on the amp. its a mono amp but in the pics there are terminals for 2 speakers. why is this? plus it says their 18 guage terminals. how am i suposed to wire one sub to this? how am i supposed to run 900wats through 18 guage wire?

well my guess about the the two sets of terminals is for wiring convenience.

several other mono amps are like this.

the terminals are likely wired together internally.

and where it mentions 18ga it isnt talking about the terminals.

it is talking about the thickness of the amp end plates.

All power and speaker terminals are screwed to the 18 gauge metal end panels for "Makita Proof" durability
