The Fear Factory CD Archetype is beyond badass. It has some very thick double bass and some of their well known electronic basslines as well. It's an awesome CD.

Primus, Lead bassist where there is usually a guitarist. Real bassy.

Chevelle, Somewhat random rolling bass drops. Loud all around.

Modest Mouse, cheesy but suprisingly active bass.

I hate to admit it but, Postal Service bumps.

Hot Chip, Electronic British music. Bumps as well.
