Try educating them? that what we do here. our little team/club if you will, we host comps locally. Not really worried about making alot of money, we just try to get the people out that are alittle interested in audio, and hope to get them more interested and put on a fun show(of course we dont compete because that wouldnt be fair //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif). Much like you, around here kicker and jl are GODS. When people hear what we have, 1/0, big 3, American bass, Flatline, DC, Extra Batt/NO CAPS, they are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif..... So we try and help them improve theirs as much as they are willing to listen(which of course is not alot) but we try.

I do try, but its like the interest is not there. None of them has ever done any of the work themselves. They pay a shop $500 to use 10guage power wire and 2 JBL 12s in a prefab. Its like they don't want to learn.

I have been charging $200 less then what the shop is charging. I have done 4 cars in the past month. Considering I am going to school full time and already have a part time job, its decent money.
