noise when switching tracks

i have a panasonic CQ-C5301U HU and whenever i change tracks it makes a weird noise. this is only when the car is off. i think i need a new battery because the thing on top of it is red. so maybe this has to do with it not getting enough power?

ok this is the story...my user name was signed on at my friends house and he thought that it was his and didnt know that it wasnt until he posted this. The red thing he is talking about if I remember is the hydrometer I cant remember the name of it off my head. And can someone please move to Head Units.
