Noise problem

CAR audio IDIOT :P
For the longest time I had a single kicker CVX 12 powered by Kicker 750.1.

It was AWESOME!!! But I decided to go biger.

I recently traded the CVX + $50 for two L7's and kicker OEM box.

I discarded the box and built my own like I always have.

I then got an additional amp to power the additional L7, I got a kicker kx600.1. It is also AWESOME.

Everything functions like is should BUT I now have VIBRATION NOISE everywhere!!!

the WORST is from my sun ROOF!! it vibrates so badly I though it was going to brake, it make a really BAD sound.

What can I do to fix this?

well, rip your roof apart and see. deadener is great for many things, but you need to get your sunroof mechanical/mount stiffened up a bit, and somehow reenforced if it is moving enough to cause damage. not to be harsh, but that's not exactly how i would have set up the boxes. looks like you are choking the ports with the trunk lid when closed. i would actually build it more integrated into the sides of the trunk, but that's me. given the same enclosure dimensions, i would fire both subs even, and fire the ports to the more open plane, which happens to be the middle, near the back wall, but if you are happy with the output, kudos. also, the subs should be powered the same. you can likely get both amps to power them close to the same by setting with a dmm, but near peak rms levels, there will be a big difference

What problems do varying RMS levels, and using different ams cause?

I was not aware of this.

I dont think you were harsh at all, these boxes SLAM, but Im ALWAYS intersted in ways to improve my designs.

It is a different design, but I Literally had NO room, these are in a volvo s60.

I tinkered with a lot of different designs before deciding on this one.

HOWEVER I am human and make mistakes.

Can you please elaborate and tell me where my major problem areas are?

AND thank you for the interest and help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also I can take more pictures if you would like to further critique.

On a similar note these things SLAM so **** hard!

when they hit deep notes my esophagus feels funny like its difficult to swallow. NOT like its killing me but its pretty nice.

I havent had this much sound pressure since MY FI BTL and my memphis mojo 2400D. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
