noise problem

well i just installed a dvd system and a pair of screens in the sunvisors, but when i'm driving with the dvd turned on i can hear a really loud noise what can i do to eliminate that problem?

what kind of noise?

Does it only do it while the car is running?

yes it only does it while the car is running, it sounds like the revs from the engine or something like that really annoying you know

its sounds like "alternator whine". the noise varies with engine rpm's, and you hear it thru your speakers? find better grounds for your dvd player and screens. where are they grounded now?

ok noise is gone, i bought a pair of THX rca wires and the noise is no more thanks for the help though
