Noise from subs with engine idleing, engine off, and HU off...

Alright so I swapped out amps for my subs. Hifonics goliath to a stetsom 7kd. All grounds, rcas, and remotes remained in the same location. With the stetsom im getting a very loud sound through my subs. Its loudest with the engine idling. It seems like a ground loop by why now after having the goliath with no noise?? I can turn the HU off and you still hear it. I can turn the truck off and you hear what sounds like a magnification of the stetsoms internal fan from the subs.. any help appreciated!

Hang on I had a similar issue I'm going to try and find that thread to see if it could help... although it's strange because grounds remained in same place...

edit: Nvm... my issue was that I was grounding through the RCAs... which unless your grounds are terrible shouldn't be the case...

yup, grounding to my back batteries.. and there ground has been the same for 4 month's...

Sounds like if everything stayed the same that it coul be the amp
