Noise coming from sub?

I have Orion P Series subs with a plastic dustcap. When i play them at a low volume they make a cracking noise. But whenever i turn the volume up i can not hear the noise anymore. I checked the dustcaps and they are fine so what could this noise be?

maybe your sub is rattling, check to see if there are air leakes around the sub. also make sure your sub hole on the box is big enough.

maybe your rca is pinched somewhere? maybe you can only hear the feedback noise when the music isnt too loud, pretty common
