You know the little light that comes on in your dash cause you dont have your seatbelt on? Would it hurt anything to disconnect the wire that goes under the driver seat for that? I always wear my seatbelt sept for when its late at night in the neighborhood and that light drives me crazy.

I'm not going to preach, but let me point out the obvious here......NOT wearing your seatbelt late at night isn't the best of ideas. Most drunk drivers are out late at night and a large percentage of accidents happen near your home (partially because its where you spend most of your time driving) either way, just wear it man, that cures the light and it may save your life.

I always wear my seatbelt. But its annoying when I start my truck before I put my seatbelt on, the light and a buzzing noise comes on until I buckle up.

I used to be very anti-seatbelt. But let me just say that getting a phone call that a good friend was ejected from his car window and when the funeral is will change that. I guess u missed the part of I always wear my seatbelt. I want to disconect it for when im just sitting in my car in the driveway or moving it? Never out of the neighborhood which has a speed limit of 25 and dead end street.

I wonder....any math people around here? What would be the greatest distance a non-secure object could travel if the object is moving at 25 mph in one direction while another vehicle is traveling 60mph directly into the front of the other?

Just wondering. Lets assume X is the object and X weighs 165 pounds.

I think but could be wrong casue it sounds wrong but 9075 feet. I think the correct fromula is f=ma. Im sure thats wrong...I was terrible in physical science. I get the point that its a far distance and its not worth ti casue u didnt have your seatbelt on.

LOL..yeah something like that. Maybe the answer is that it doesnt' matter beacuse the object will liquify on impact.
