No Peel and Seal?!?

So I headed up to Lowes to buy some Peal and Seel. They didn't have any. Not only did they not have any, I asked about 6 different workers there and not a single one of them had ever heard of it. I thought somebody told me Lowes carried it... perhaps it was just my location.

Anybody tell me where else I can find it? And the approx price on 40-50ft. Thanks, Matt

they had it at the lowes i drove to... which was 2 friggin hours away...

its 12.47 for 25ft. by 6inches of the stuff... i used four rolls just in my

trunk... for one layer...

They do the people just dont know what it is or where it is.

I also asked alot of there employees where its was and they said they didnt carry it.

lol.

I looked myself for about 10min adn found it.

call them..they will tell you who sells it closet to you..thats what i did...wost comes to worse just buy it online..but goin to a location near you saves on shipping

I looked around myself and felt like I was about to find it when I was in the roofing, never did though. Found foam, Great Stuff and a few other goodies while I was there though.

I will hit up the plano Lowes and see if I can grab it.

Why is it so much cheaper then eDead and SecondSkin? Not paying for the nametag?

its cheaper cause its supposed to be used for roofs n stuff...worse case i'll get it for u..doubt it will be worth it though..

i work at lowes and at my store peal and seal is in roofing. it comes in small rolls so maybe you just missed it? but either way i would suggest going to the commercial sales desk and ask them. if they dont have it they should be able to special order it for you.

a few reasons....

its toxic

it is modified asphalt

it has a low heat tollerance and has been known to melt

it smells

the foil is much thinner

Menards has what is called weatherguard, same stuff same price and you can get it in a 100 sq.ft. roll

As for any smell from p&s , its bs!!! NOTto step on any toes or to start an arguement but.....

I have brand new carpet,new headliner,newer seats,newer dash,no back seat (so nothing in my car can block the odor of the peal-n-seal) My entire inside of my car is done in p&s,no odor= NO SMELL

Only smell in my car is the carpet and new headliner, and even that is gone now.

If it has a low heat tolerence why is it used for roofing and also comes with a 10 yr. or something guarantee from any defects in material after its been laid,,lol

Not saying tsunami is awesome or anything but i have their sound deadner in my trunk and the peel-n-seal is thicker than the tsunami's

my whole trunk is done in peel and seel and it

does smell a little... but just at first when you

get in the car after its been sitting for a while

and it goes away in a few minutes... well worth

it to save a boatload of cash...

i had fat mat in my caprice and it smelled a little stronger, but barely noticable.
