i cant figure this out, when i set the gain on the amp it gives me the voltage that i need but when i connect it to the sub nothing happens.. i rechecked all the connections inside the box and everything was good. I no its a lose wire somewhere but i cant figure where it is...

yea i just turned up the volume and the sub kicked for a second then quit, so now i have to find what wire is loose.. could a loose ground cause this problem to?

Could be a broken tinsel. Just went through the same thing. Sub was working intermittently. Ended up finding a shredded tinsel lead that was making good enough connection for the sub to work about half the time. If you have a meter which it sounds like you do use it to check your subs ohm load.

Also do you have another sub you can hook up to verify that the amp is working ? Unless it is installed improperly I would be very surprised if the amp had an issue . I ran it at one ohm everyday up until I sold it to you and it never even got warm.

ok weird just turned on the car and everything worked fine... gota be a loose wire some where. also i just checked the ohms load from speaker terminal on the box and it read 14ohms isnt that to high? Im running it in 2ohm config so not sure what its suppost to be at the terminal.

It's possible yes. You really need to yank the sub from the box and inspect everything. You can use your meter to see if there is continuity on each side of the terminal cup. Check the resistance right at the subs terminals while you are in there.

well i pulled out the sub and everything was all connected ohms was good to, I think it was just a bad ground cause i tightened it down some more and so far so good.

Only thing is i might want to go louder now lol
