ok so im getting ZERO output from my amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif what is the deal? everything is fine! fuses fine amp turns on no smell everything is cool! i get no output. amp repair man assures me that it is in working condition! the set screws are really loose... almost like there the wrong size..... i have them screwed in at somewhat of an angle not to tight as i dont want to mess the threads up.... could it bu the set screws arent allowing the wire to make a good eough connection?

Have you tried hooking up an Ipod/cd player to the amp, other than the headunit, to verify it's not the headunit?
yes i have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif NADA!

loose set screws still provide a good enough connection to work. what's going on with you and amps lately? you checked voltage and stuff I assume
voltage is fine... sitting at 12.8 idle at 14.2

im getting real fed up with used equip man no joke!

Check and make sure the speaker wire's are stripped far enough back to allow the set screw to hit the wire and not the sheath. Strip them so that you can just see the sheath end at the beginning of the set screw pocket. Seems obvious, but it's happened to me before. Happened with a diamond amp that had really deep pockets for the speaker wire.

Also, you might stick a voltage meter on one of the speaker terminal pairs (on the amp) and see if there's output.

did this.... found the problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

speaker terminals were busted at the 90 degree angle.... hence why new amps have 45's.... but amp is going back to repair man who sold it to me hes repairing it then sending it back! great guy imo...

so for now no bass for don //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
