I also realized i care way more about SPL than SQ, i bought the sub wanting it to be ungodly loud and violent, and this sub is much more geared towards SQ than that.

I agree. I can understand peoples frustrations, as ls1 seems to be not taking any advice. Everyone being a bit harsh though I would think.

LS1 - Build you a new box, and get the amp set up right, and the rl-p should make you happy. I wouldn't jump into anything until you give that a whirl.

I was about to step up also, seriously guys, instead of TEACHING him, why do you bash him so much.

Im like you ls1, i want to be loud meaning that when i go somewere things actually shake outside of my car and i like to be heard, yes i said it, i like to be heard outside my vehicle. Anyways, thats why im going for an XXX18 and feeding it 2000+ watts with its own electrical system in ported box tuned to 32hz, anyways, just letting ya know the xxx will get loud, just how loud you like in a ported box tuned to 32-35, just get some plans from some one that actually knows their shit and you will see the output that it really puts out.
