No more spare tire :(

well with my 2 12 W7's ported in my 08 Accord Trunk, having spare tire access was next to impossible. Right now its trapped underneath my custom built 4 cu. box that is bolted down from underneath the car. We are taking it out this week and building a makeshift support for the box in the spare tire area. This way at least I will have access to my spare tire at home if I have a flat and someone can bring it to me(god that would **** though) And then if it happens at night I could just get a tow home. But then I was thinking what about if I take a raod trip. If I get a flat in the day I could call AAA and have them tow me to a tire shop, but at night when everythings closed??? This really has me thinking. Anybody else have to get rid of their spare because of subs??? If so what were your solutions?? The problem with just taking my box out is it is so custom built and custom fit into my trunk it would be hell to get out and a two person job. Anybody know of a good tire sealant to at least just last for a bit to get me to help? I know if I have a blowout I am royally f$%#%$. anyone?

i was about to say AAA for the win. but ya i don't know about if the shops are closed. for mine i put the spare in the back seat if im going on a long trip. just incase.ive heard that fix a flat in a can works. but i think it ****s up your tire or something cuz it always says to make sure you tell the person thats replacing your tire that you put that shit in there.

i regret throwing mine out for the system. Being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no phone in rain with a flat is so worth having a system.

I don't carry a spare either. 90% of the shops that I know of that tow AAA calls will do a tire repair even if the shop is closed. My uncle tows AAA calls and even if it's in middle of the night when his shop is closed if he gets a call for a flat tire I know he will take it back to the shop and fix/replace it and get the person back on the road again.

I took mine out once, regreted it one night when I was stranted at 3am on the highway. Never again will I ditch it...

I plan on keeping mine, it's in a recessed portion of the trunk which will be under the box, but I should still have room to slide it out.
