no memory

i just recently put a pioneer cd player in my truck, the problem im having is that it doesnt save memory, if i turn off the truck then turn back on there clock or any settings dont save and the player doesnt automaticly turn on buy itself like the last player i had. just wondering what im doin wrong?

Ur gonna have to find a way to get a wire that has to have 12v+ even with the car off. U can do this by running it directly to the battery, or by finding another wire. Directly to the battery would be a good choice cause it'll give u the needed power for the HU for sure.

 
in order for the player to even turn on i have to have both accesory wires and both battery wirs hooked up together or it wont ever turn on at all


sounds like you blew a fuse, check your fuse panel and swap the one for the radio. it might be rdo... should be 10A or 15A. wire it right and then fix the fuse. thus you shouldn't have the constant ever touch a ground.

I do take it you have the spliced connections covered with something?
