No head unit only iPhone and or zune

Ok, so I built the system Phoenix gold amp 2subs (12s) and 2 set of component speakers (6.5)

Audio control 3xs and audio control matrix. No head unit. I want to use my iPhone and or Zune media player. Every thing works perfect only the problem I'm having is no volume control. My question is, "is there something that I can purchase besides a head unit that would allow me to use just the iPhone. I also have a soundgate Zune interface. It goes like this:

1-Zune

2-soundgate

3-matrix

4-3xs

5-Phoenix gold xenon 800 watts

Is there something out there that would allow the use of the Zune and/or iPhone instead of a head unit w/volume control. Thanks

Clarion EQS746 7-Band Rotary Equalizer/EQ (EQS-746) used this 7 band eq in my buddies car for a tablet build and it worked great. Much better than Y splitting a signal to your amp.
