hey guys for the longest time i have been in to hobby grade rc cars. i first messed around with electric ones and for the past few years i switched over to nitro.im thinkin about getin a new truck/buggy. Is there any one eles that likes nitro rc cars/trucks? For the most part i order from towerhobbies, or i go to my local hobby shop.

Lipo ftw.

Nitro sucks.

It's loud and dirty.. Soo much more maintenance.. You are restricted to where you can run because of the noise..

I have ran Nitro walking down the steet playing.

So you have to clean it and maintain it? Oh well its fun.

They both have their pros and cons but they are both fun, i had an 2 different HPI RS-4's, HPI Savage and i have a Associated MGT in the garage. If you are into the 4x4 trucks and get a Savage, i have a lot of tech tips to beef it up more than it already is.

im goin to get a mini mgt 3.0, im just waitin to thursday. i have been having this stupid issue with my real car. i had to bring her to the dealer a few months back and if its the same issue they will fix it for free. well thats what they said lol. anyways i have so many diff nitros over the years. i find that i go with traxxas cuz i can get my parts local and its so much better to get a part the same day as they brake . i have had duratrax rtr and i have to say if u switch out there shity electronics there not bad. oh yea duratrax has a issue with there tune pipes. for some reason they allways come with a dent in them, or they will get one over time. i have had a few jatos there fun but u need some room and they really are not made for off road. i have a nitro sport what a waste the chassis is half metal and plastic yea thats a bad idea for a nitro. i have a tmaxx 2.5 mine had a ****** issue where it would stutter as you took off.(known issue with them) i had stampede nice nitro i had the electric one as well. rc 10 gt great starter nitro truck for under 300. i had a hpi nitro rush pretty cool truck for under 300 as well. i had both tower hobbies nitro trucks and they both stink .i had a few on road cars as well about 6 and they all ended up with gear issues cuz of where i live there is alot of dirt and little rocks. i have had over 40 diff electric cars/trucks/buggys/monster trucks . one year i spend clsoe to 11,000 on rc cars . for the most part for the past 5 years i would buy a new nitro with some of my tax money. im gona do the same thing this year
