Nissan Altima Coupe

Especially when you throw the fact we are talking about Flip into the mix.

I personally would like an LS2 GTO and will get one when they get in the 13-14k range. Right now they are about 18k for anything with

I realize 400hp can be had cheaper building something up but I really don't have the skills nor the interest in tinkering with a car.
ya the GTO is a great car. that is on the list of one of my next cars aswell. i was watching an 04 on ebay still has the ls1 350 hp enough for me. but anyways with 29k miles sold for 11k:eek: they getting cheaper.let me see if i can find the link. my uncle had a gto its was great, easy to get races to. allot of people do not know about them.

Bingo.
I thinking waiting out the GTO is the best bet. Is the LS2 the 6.0?
Indeed it is, I believe that was in the 2006+ model but I could be wrong. LS1 in the 05 was 350hp which is still a shitload of power but I would prefer the biggest one.

It's funny because I drove a Mustang in high school that I thought was 'fast' then and it only put out 215hp (5.0) so I guess sports cars have changed quite a bit (for the better)

I thought the G8 was the GTO replacement?

One good competitor to the Nissan is the acura TL or the Honda arocrd. I would not look into GM products because of there status and because of there previous history. I have owned Honda sense 1996 and not one major problem and the dealer has always been as friendly as can be even the one that i had to get a new head light in tenn. "deer problem" But the fact is Honda Toyota and even Nissan are very good companies and very hard to compete with hope this helps.

It's a hard leap to a Nissan...I think the Alimtas are made down the road here...so I know some of the guys that assembled a particular car. Makes it less foreign than say a Honda/Acura. Although I did opt for the Honda motor on my mower over the B&S.

This is why I have chose Nissan they are assembled in Tn. I went to MTSU and know some of the line engineers that work there. Nissan as of late to me has been putting out the best looking cars on the road and they have always been a reliable company.
