Cause you are going to get ripped off bro. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifWhy not though, exactly? I can get a 200A alternator for about $1 per amp.
Is there a chance it could be overrated? If so, is there a way to verify it's rating? They claim the above said alternator puts out 100A idle and 180A-200A at 3500 rpm. Ultimately, I'm looking for the cheapest way to add more power to my system. I have the Big 3 with 1/0 and my battery is still good.
Who knows? You are rolling the dice with an unknown product from an unknown dealer. What I'd like to know is how exactly I can be ripped off, will it be overrated? unreliable? etc....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
You know it is pretty easy to rack up good feedback with the intent of scamming people later. The whole feedback system on eBay is a sham. It is about as worthless as the BBB. If you feel good about buying an HO alt from some dudes basement "workshop", by all means go for it. Just don't come back here and post how pissed you are that you got "ripped off". I see those same posts here every day.Probably, if the seller has 100% positive feedback. This seller has 100% positive feedback (600+) and has an alternator store. I've searched but can't find any info on Nippondenso.
How do you tell the good from the bad with certainty? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifi have 2 of his alternators 1 in an 89 chevy p/u (200 amps tested at 226 on the bench) and 1 in the camaro i just sold (160 amps benched at 193) both over 2 yrs old and never an issue.you can check with db electrical on ebay he is reputable and has a seperate website as well.
not everyone on ebay is crooked, the people that say that are either jealous( cuz they overpaid for the same item elsewhere ), brand loyal or got ripped off, so they say all ebayers are shitty.
