YEP! This is the perfect example of how NOT to pack a subwoofer for shipping! I'll be shocked if Fedex's insurance covers the OP over that crappy packaging job.

ETA: I had UPS give me fits over something that was shipped but they finally paid after about 2 months because the shoddy packaging job was the result of employees at the UPS store, not the seller!

Completely the shipper fault here... I mean a single box w/ bubble wrap and packing peanuts for a 50+ lbs sub.

 

Theres even a f*cking thread on it here, shouldnt be too difficult.

 

If FedEx doesnt cover it, i would go ape sh*t on the shipper.

Why did you even accept the package? Turn ANYTHING down if it shows up in that kind of condition. Then get it reviewed, so they cant say you did the damage to the box to make it look like it was there fault, Ive done that with UPS twice.

everyone knows you cant put any sort of confidence in fedex or ups or any other shipping service.

the seller needs to be thoughtful and careful enough to take the time to package carefully

i'm confident with UPS. i have never had any issues with them on anything i've ordered/shipped. USPS on the other hand delivered a cracked AA 15" Atlas. though that too had shipper at fault due to the packaging material was a box full of polyfill.
