Hey eveyone! Have been gone from the forum for a few months. My computer crapped out. Bummer... Not only that. but my transmission in my car went out that same week. Has been rough but we are back in the saddle. I had to get another car. All of that work I put into making the sound system what it was now has to come out of my eclipse and go into my elantra. Going to try to get it done this weekend... I wonder how this is going to sound?? I think the acoustics will be better but the big question is the sub. Going from a hatchback to a trunk. Humm... We will see.

Your transmission broke so you got a new car? Was it auto or manual and how much was the new car?

Well it was going to be very expensive to fix and the 2001 elantra was damm near a gift from a friend so it was a no brainer.

I'd guess it was, seems like your usage of brain wasn't that involved in the decision. Transmissions can be a hassel but people make them out to seem more that way then they truely are. Give me 3-4 hours and a manual ****** and it'd be like new again... guess thats worth a new car. However the autos seem to be more complex.
