Nice Head Unit

I have a dodge stealth that I plan to fix up for performance and show. I am looking for a system that will get a wow! or nice! I am not necessarily looking for the best performing equipment. Mostly something for show, although I would like to use it and be happy with its sound.

Any Ideas?

If you want a classy looking, no-frills, AWESOME sounding HU, then I suggest you look into Rockford Fosgate RFX-8250Ti

They'll pop up on eBay every now and then.

Other HU's to consider:

McIntosh MX406 (I've seen a couple sub-$500)

Eclipse CD 8053, 8061, etc.

Pioneer DEH-P860MP or 960MP if you like the two-piece

Alpine CDA-7998, 9835

Alpine DVA-7996 (pretty rare, but an AMAZING piece of equipment)

I could think of more right now... kinda tired.

i never thught panasonic was the best.. but i just bought one of there newest models and hooked it up to some old junker speakers... its actually one great HU for bout $220

The previous owner had an alpine deck with a Alpine digital processor i think...I do not have a deck now, but there are like little boxes with a bunch of speaker wire under each seat. What is this? For components maybe?
