This is a very nice board going here, I found it a little while back and just now decided to sign up. I am a pretty broke guy most of the time, and the money I do have tends to go under the hood. But I was in Circuit City today and picked up a polk/momo 12" sub for only $55. I currently have a Lanzar deck, 250Wx2 soundstorm amp, and 2-8" thump subs. I have the polk in a nice sealed enclosure already but it is not installed, I am curious as to what my next move should be or if there is anyhting I could do cheap to work with what I have?

How do you like those Thumps? I almost bought 2 and a enclosure at a flea market for 25$... I thought it sounded like a pretty good deal but I didn't have the money on my and my parents wouldn't spot me the cash...

The polk's? I have always been under the understanding that polk's are decent subs but then again im an idiot lol. But the thumps no i am not trying to brag at all I just figured I would show how desperate my system is lol. I have a soundstorm 250 for the thumps, I am curious if this amp would be an alright deal for the polk's tho? Yes I am a newb so please if it is a stupid idea tell me don't flame me, thanks again guys

Not sure how sarcastic you are being but honestly I got these things for free over 2 years ago and they must be at least 5 yrs old but honestly, they have help up better than some pioneer 10's I had on the same amp in my old bronco and do not sound much worse lol(they were old as well tho)

lol nah I wasn't being sarcastic... I haven't been able to find much in the way of sound equipment for cheap... If I can find a job and if I get my first pay check, I was thinking of getting 2 P.Miller subs and some sort of cheap 300x2 amp. Their cheap subs and unlike some, I really like the cone lol...

For the system I'm trying to get, I don't want to go for SPL or SQ. I just want a little rib shaking when I can. Right now the system I have has next to no bass. I like Bass but I don't want to be overwhelmed or anything.
