the references can probably be had for around 500 if you caught the dealer on the right day. i run mine active through a zapco 650.6 DC and they sound absolutly incredable, but i have heard them through their own crossovers and they are still in my top 3 favorites.

also lotus performance is easily under $500 brand new at mobilesq and used sets of the lotus reference set can be had around $500.

There's a guy on here from Duluth IIRC....he's a dealer for Eclipse for sure....don't know what else he has. Pretty sure he has a shop up there somewhere. Want to say it's Auto Audio??
