Forgive me, im a noob.

my amp has the following specs:

2 Ch x 200W at 4 ohm

1 Ch x 500W at 4 ohm

2 Ch x 250W at 2 ohm

Im looking into new subs (2) that are DVC 4 ohm

I understand that i can bridge them 1 ch 500 w 4 ohm

paperwork that came with my amp says something about only running 1 sub bridged not 2.

I really dont want to ruin anything, so i want to wire them right. Since i havent bought any subs yet im open to suggestions on what to get, but most of what im finding that seems good is all dvc.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can do this. Just on each individual sub wire the two voice coils in series to be 8 ohms, then wire the two subs together in parallel to be 4 ohms. Your documentation is most likely referring to having two 4 ohm SVC subs wired in parallel to you amp when bridged.

if its possible could i get a diagram of exactly how to wire it. I assume i use the (+) from one channel and (-) from the other?

No problem. Welcome to the forums.

Take one sub - Wire one of the negatives on it to the positive on the other coil of the same sub. Do the same for the other sub.

Then you will have 4 terminals left unwired on the subs. One neg and one positive on each sub.

Your amp documentation will tell you which terminals on the amp to use when bridging.

Wire each remaining, unwired positive to the positive terminal on your amp. Wire each yet unwired negative terminals to the negative terminal on the amp.
