NEWB needs help on what GPS double din HU for Mustang

Hi all

Im not a AV god, nor will i pretend to be.

I had some kick as CV strokers back in the day and since then just kinda lame.

I have a STOCK oem 07 mustang GT with shaker 500 and only audio upgrade being the front doors have been dynamatted and insulated

Ok so here is the deal

Im soon to be moving to Toronto (OMG) huge city (for me) and i will have no friggen idea how to get around.

I am going to need a GPS

My need list is Good GPS with good audio talking voice (no r2d2 voice)

I would like some more control of my stereo IE a good EQ and maybe independant control of the 8's in the door vrs the overall bass if thats possible

This is a lame request, but i want a unit that isnt too obtrusive on my music

so i want to listen to my tunes and not have turn in 500 m turn in 300m turn in 250 m turn in 200m ect ect thats so lame

I dont need the best and most bells and whistles (most expensive)

just want good audio and good GPS everything else is just bonus

I thank everyone for there input as im so out of the loop with the new stuff

options on units, install tips, (i would like to install myself) Im a HD mechanic so wiring is not an issue if anyone would be willing to help with diagrams wire colours ect.

addition to post

i know i can add an aftermarket amp to control my 8s but i would like to keep as much oem as possible to keep costs down

so any advice is appreciated

I would consider buying used if its all good and reccomended by others and my research on it is cool

I just need to have some better ideas from the pros
