Here's what I'm looking for to replace my 5-6 yo Pioneer;

Must haves:

*3 Preouts with highest voltage possible

*USB input (for my 4GB flashdrive)

*Aux input (front or back)

*CD/MP3/WMA capabilities

*Sat Ready

*More than 3 band EQ - More the better

Budget - Hopefully under $200, but up to $300 if necessary.

Kinda hard to do a search with all those parameters....but I think the DEH-P600UB will do the job.

why would the speakers matter? The amps would be more important and if he is running active or passive

CDA-9887 and call it a day. You wont ever have to upgrade unless your getting into some serious stuff.

The lower end alpines/pioneers will do just fine if you dont want to spend the bread.
