dude million options (look at my cheap as* set up) so u want spend $300 or $3k? do u need new hu? (I just got kenwood x301 $119 not installed yet), u want just sub and mono amp? or u want amp on mids/highs too? u could get ppi 900.4 run a 10 sub and 2 front speakers (could run 4 speakers but I don't care about rears just run then off hu and if u get hu with hp xover speakers sound fine won't distort).. u could get a 1600 rms cab amp ($200 got one coming here today not for me though d*am it) and 12" $300 sub in ported box but u may not have room or want 1600rms or want to spend $1000 so we need more info.. if u want good cheap sub and for u guys ain't seen a sundown lcs yet watch the end free air https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=sundown+lcs+sub&&view=detail&mid=02B926C67081F8CEB04E02B926C67081F8CEB04E&FORM=VRDGAR

Not to get on your case, But what you've provided is extremely vague.
What do you want out of your system? What kind of music do you listen to? Very good quality listening experience or simply loud? What about head unit? Lots of bass?
It's basically like walkin into a hardware store and saying you need a bolt. You can't expect people to spend their time giving you every option on the planet because you haven't taken the time to do your research or at least think about what you need

Hah. Well, I mean daynm. He caught me on a particularly bad evening. I was working on quotes, and one job in particular needs a lot of homeowner decisions made so I can quote the correct material quantities. they don't know what they want....all they know is they want a price. I'm not a mind reader, and I'm certainly not going to quote a price for every option under the sun. Especially when I have my two boys under 3 sleeping on top of me in a chair while juggling a lap top.
Kind of struck a nerve, and I may have taken it out on Lil' buddy here a bit.
Sorry lil' buddy, but it still doesn't make it any less true.

Apology people, I'm not really an audio person, it is the kiddos wanting some quality sound. Some bass will do but not that loud. Wifey told to spend like $400.

BTW if it will help, the kiddos are 10 and 7 years old and like some rap music to sing along with especially when we are on road trips.
They are going to stone me for this, but since you're on a tight budget....you might consider a hideaway sub and just doing some factory replacement door speakers.

Yeah, sounds that is the route we take for now.
Perhaps if you have some left over change, consider sound dampening your doors
