I've never seen it.

I never understood the out-of-box videos, tho. That much excursion in an enclosure couldn't possibly sound good, the surround isn't even linear at that point.

Still a cool vid, tho.

i see the new xxx in the pics that were posted last week but i was tellin my self that i saw it somewhere else last year while searching the web for RE products.

Well people knock square subs because the surround can't stay uniform throughout the subs movement, and it decreased output, isn't that the same thing as the surround rippling in that vid?

You can see creases in the surround, where it's actually mounted to the frame.

The square sub's problem is uneven stress along the cone's surface, thereby increasing probability of cone deformation when hammering hard. Surround 'dimpling' on round subs is a different phenonenom that does not lead to cone warping, and is actually fairly common even in many current long excursion subs with rubber surrounds. It doesn't really look pretty on video, but it doesn't really hurt anything acoustically.
