and you dont buy an amp cause its overrated.

are you that mad that you got a quality amp that does 600watts at 1-4ohms for cheap?

Haha, thats why they call them a 600.1, they are only really supposed to put out 600, anything extra is just a bonus bro

I wouldn't have bought one expecting 800+ watts unless it was used or opened

No, I wasn't complaining. Still a good amp regardless. I needed a 600w amp anything over that was just bonus. I just though it was odd that mine was so low, but that post explained things.

yeah, call up phoenix gold and talk to errin. he'll reassure you that they all put out 800W+ some of them come with two birthsheets some of them don't, but they all went through re-work and will put out the power!

my original birthsheet said 612, but i have it tuned to 800.. the little card sheets are way off.. if you have on 8 1\2 X 11 with a graph on it, that is accurate.. but not all have them

This is only true of the monoblocks, correct? I received a little card sheet with my x200.2.

they arent as drastically different, but my x200.2 had 2 biurthsheets.. the 8 1/2 X 11 sheet was higher then the smaller one.. but only by about 50 watts overall

Good to know. My BS said 489W, so it might actually be closer to 530W.

It's only been in for a day, but I already love this amp. It replaces my broken Powerclass, and it hasn't been a step down in any respect. Not bad for $130 NIB.
