They will be coming out with a $199 version later this year. Probably an arcade, but no details have been released yet. Speculators say possibly a 120gb hdd and it should have wi fi too. I will probably wait for this one as long as it has the 120gb hdd. Only time will tell.

There just now coming out with built in wifi? PS3 has had that since launch...and I've had a 320gb HDD in my PS3 since I got it thanks to the easily swappable hard drive.

this is probably the only reason they decided to go with built in wifi this time. every body was switching over to ps3s cus you pay less and get more.

Yeah, I'm jealous of xbox 360 owners. Maybe I should sell my ps3 and computer (both of which are nicer than a 360) and buy a shitty xbox 360 for myself.

I don't own either one....but if I were to choose I would go with one of the older backwards compatible ps3's over any 360. The swappable 2.5" SATA drive and less failure rates would make me want it more. My cousin has one and it is super easy to back up your game data to an ext HD and then reload the OS on the new Internal HD.

Yup, the built in bluetooth and web browser allow you to install pretty much any wireless keyboard & mouse and use your tv as a computer monitor too.

The PS3 is vastly superior to the 360, in terms of hardware and applications....and they've hardly scratched the surface as far as it's potential is concerned. When Sony brought the price of the PS3 down to the 360's level, it really made choosing between the consoles a no brainer...

I don't understand what's so great about the new "slim" 360? It's the same **** size, and comes with a bigger HDD and built in wifi? Like I said before, I've had a 320gb HDD and wifi in my PS3 for like 3 years now...Everyone's acting like this new 360 is the shit and is amazing, IMO it just brings in features that should have been standard at launch.

I think the Kinect looks pretty cool. I know my girlfriend that loves her wii instantly started thinking of buying an Xbox because of it. i might consider trading in my old one for the new one.

x2. if you already have a 360 then just get a **** wireless adapter or keep it pimpin and connect hardwired... no need to pay for a whole new system
