Yea I was thinking either the kenwood excellon or the eclipse. Im somewhat leaning towards the eclipse tho because of the hard drive and the DUC-105

Just buy a kenwood HD, well, the music keg. I really didnt like the eclipse units. All 3 of them were ugly and werent very user friendly. I could have probly grown used to it, but I liked the kenwood better right away. My pioneer avhp7500 was really good, just waaaaay too many problems with it and with pioneer as a company.

dam but doesnt the duc-105 add hella eq? Thats kinda why I wanna get it. Im not really trippin about the user friendly interface I think I will be able to get it down quickly. Plus the harder it is to actually learn everything the better it will be once u mastered it. I gess im still deciding. I know both of those fit in my console with a harness.

Im still unsure to whats goin to happen to stock navi tho since it will remain there.

you should make sure that other shit isnt tied into your stock radio.. some new cars are like that..

check the maxima forums.. you migt lose shit you dont want to if you pull the stock deck ;(

Well I mean i was thinkin of puttin 2 runs of power/ground wires there so that both the stock and new screens would work, but if the stock screen just sits there that would be coo too. As long as the new one works with out messing any thing up I think it will be fine. Plus crutchfield sells all the adapters to make everything go smoothly.

It would actually be pretty cool if I could somehow get the stock screen to show the vehicle specs like mpg/mph/rmp while the new deck handles everything else.

eh depends. Sometimes they dunno what they are talkin about. Especially on the new cars.
