New vehicle

Just sold my old truck (in my sig) tonight for $8,000 cash it was a 2000 Silverado with 88k miles and a 4.3L V6. 20" rims, dropped 3" in the rear, 2" in the front.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my new truck; $28,999 sticker price, I'm getting it for $28,000 including tax, title, and license.

It's a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado z71; 4x4, 5.3L V8, bed liner, ton's of cool stuff. Onto the pics (just taken of the dealer's site; I'll have actual pictures up tomorrow!)

Yea, we are. I'm paying 10,000; my dad is covering the rest from my trust fund.

it should get about 20mpg if driven properly.....maybe more on the highway

Yea; my old v6 got worse gas mileage than this will.

I'm gonna do some stuff to the engine to try and gain a little gas mileage on it.

I drive about 300 miles a week over the summer to work and the girlfriend's; but will be able to drive that in a month once I go back to school in august.

It was a regular cab, v6 :-/ This thing is big and pwerful; couple mods and I'll be pushing 375 HP easy with torque out the roof

Liked the older one better as far as looks. Got some nicer options in this one it looks like, but red FTL and I cant stand Chevy's front end on that year.

Haha--my roommates Chevy with the 4.8 gets 15 in town on a good day and maybe 18-19 on the highway. My 4X4 toyota gets 20 for mixed driving. Hope you have the $$ to pay for $4 a gallon gas on that big tank.
