new truck ... need ideas

well i had been looking for a new truck with a straight bed and automatic and i ran across this 1997 f150 with only 40,000 miles that this old man had owned but he just recently passed away and i got a deal , 4000. Im planning on buying some 22's and trading the current wheels and tires in for them. I would like to paint some of the dash and interior pieces burgandy to match the outside and im thinking about 1 piece h.i.d headlights off of ebay. I havnt really saw many of these trucks this color that have alot of accesories on them so what else do you reccommend ? the first think im doing is selling the toolbox and take those mudflaps off

I wouldn't put rims on it...

EDIT: Removing toolbox and mudflaps is a good start

Definitely needs new tire though. Those look like the factory Firestones...I would look for some nice 18s or 20s and get some decent tires for em

yeah i do but im thinking about selling the current truck and using the money to pay for some stuff im gonna put on this truck and pay off some money i owe. Im thinking about getting 5 or 10% tint all the way around and later on maybe even a new 1 color paint job

4.6 in it or 4.2?? If its the 4.6 exact same truck as one of my buddies. There good trucks, you'll be happy with it...

its the 4.6 . The seats are alot more comfortable than my current truck and the idk really i like this one better as far as driving and the comfort in the cab, i will really like it when i get it fixed up like i want it

well today i came home and removed the toolbox and the mudflaps and the storage compartment behind the seats and really cleaned the inside up nice. Friday i am getting the windows tinted and probably going to go ahead and order the headlights from ebay. Saturday i am putting my indash and amp and subs in this truck. This weekend im going to go ahead and try to get alot of stuff as you can see so is there anything else i should do or order this weekend i need some suggestions ... thanks

good truck i have 1..........a little advice after alot of tests....facing your subs towards your back window will make them much louder i promise

IMO the two tone is hideous, so is the burgandy. paint it all one color. like black or silver.

You need to slam it and put it on some twankies
