New toy

Well it's 240x2 on the speaker channels and 1k at the sub channel for a total of 1480wrms...150a of fusing makes me want to believe it will do rated. Those are some impressive specs, and a great price to boot. I wouldn't expect it to be the cleanest sounding speaker amp, but still a great deal for the money. Is the 4-channel portion A/B or D?

I believe it is an a/b class for the full range

Only say that because thd on the fullrange is .05

And the sub section is .1

Might not be the greatest but I'd put the specs up against the big belle. I just don't know about the quality of the hifonics since generally everyone beats the crap out of these amps and expects it to be bulletproof.

Since I'm just doing a daily small power set up and my alt is already a 130 amps I'll probably just add a small batt and call it a day

Well it sure is a lot cheaper than the Big Belle lol

Try and find a give channel with these ratings for this price. U can't I'll agree that I could've gotten it cheaper but only by a couple of bucks and my only other option was the big belle which is sold for around 900 from a dealer and I couldn't find one used online.

And hell I had the money and decided to be a genii pig for everyone else. Might turn out good might turn out bad I just wanted a new flat screen more than the belle so I found a cheap replacement for the belle

well i hooked up this amp to my factory speakers and it made them come alive the ab section is great.

then i hooked up and older 4 ohm pioneer 400w rms and played around for a minute and poof their went the pioneer. first i figured i clipped it so i grabbed the backup and tossed it in same sub and everything and headed to the local shop. tossed it on the termlab and o-scoped it and after a few it decided it couldnt handle it and poof went the second sub.

so i headed back into the shop and picked up a memphis c3 put it at two ohms and let it rip. it just sounded great, it handled holly cole trio, skillet, lil wayne perfectly. blended well when needed and became apparent when i want it to

my only problem it my car controls the alt voltage and rarely charges to 14v. so the amp stays at 12v without dropping and in turn stays a little warm, not hot but warm

im 100% satisfied great crossovers(could be labled better but still great), good looking and plenty of power. cant wait to clamp it at 1ohm. i easily achieved 750w at two ohm which is where its at now

Good to hear! But I have some advice for tuning it to subs that it will likely overpower:

Turn the gain all the way down, and the volume on your deck to 60/70% or wherever you want its "max" to be. Pick the song out of all of your music that makes your subs move the most (excursion). While playing it, turn up the gain until you hear the sub start to mechanically max out, then turn it down a little bit. Now, no matter what song you play, the sub will not be able to mechanically blow. As far as thermal overload goes, it shouldn't clip as long as you don't tweak the EQ, so that SHOULDN'T be an issue, but it's a little harder to dumb-proof than excursion.

I do the same kind of tuning with my speakers as well btw. I've never blown a sub before by employing this method.

Good luck! Let me know if you ever decide to get rid of it, I would be up for a trade.
